SCHEDULING POLICY

By scheduling an appointment with uTutor, each student agrees to abide by the following policies. These policies were created because we value the time of not only our students but also our tutors. We take these policies seriously so we can ensure that every possible student gets the help they need when they need it.

Cancellation Policy

If the student cancels up to 24 hours before the appointment, the student is entitled to a full refund. If the student cancels within 24 hours of the appointment, then the student will be charged a $20 fee.

 

If uTutor cancels the session within 24 hours of the appointment, the student is not responsible and will not be charged. All attempts will be made by uTutor to schedule another session at a time convenient to the student.

Reschedule Policy

Rescheduling up to 24 hours before the appointment will incur no additional cost. Rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment will result in a $20 fee.

 

No-Show Policy

Arriving 15 or more minutes late to the appointment will be counted as a no-show. A no-show will result in a $30 fee. Students are allowed 2 no-shows. If the student is a no-show for a third time, then the student will no longer be able to schedule appointments with uTutor or take advantage of uTutor’s services.
